Members: Freydl Helmut, Friedl Lazarus, Walter Schatz (2), David Lampl, Herbert Novak

In 1975 Friedl Lazarus founded the "Mooskirchen Quintet" with his brother Hubert. The other members Heinz Tappler and Gerald Deutschl were from the Mooskirchen region. The last to join the group was Helmut Freydl, then 16 years old, from the Deutschlandsberg district.

In this formation, music was played together for 15 years until, due to professional changes of some musicians, Helmut Freydl reorganized the group as Die Mooskirchner in 1989.
