Real name: Rafael de Ibarbia Serra

Spanish pianist, arranger, and conductor, born in Barcelona (1931), died in Madrid (2003). Popular television personality, working extensively as a conductor for Spain's public broadcaster TVE. Led the orchestra for six Spanish Eurovision Song Contest entries between 1963 and 1977, including the winning 'La, la, la' (1968). Also musical director of the 1977 OTI Song Festival. Often credited with honor prefix "Maestro" or "Mtro."
