Robert Ledent (Elsene July 26th 1911 - Ukkel Octobre 12th 1986)Occasional Pseudonyms: Robert Lorcy, Max Tendel
Orchestra conductor and composer, director of the Academy of Ixelles.
He worked with H. Sarly, R. Moulaert, Joseph and Léon Jongen, A. De Boeck.
Founder of the Ledent Concerts, of the Chamber orchestra of Brussels, the choral society of the Université libre de Bruxelles, he was administrator of the concerts and orchestra conductor of Chapelle Musicale Reine Elisabeth.
Orchestra conductor of the royal Theatre of the Currency, he was also orchestra conductor of the royal Opera of Ghent.
He composed for piano, for the harmonizations for choruses, the film music and scene, for the ballets and the preludes and continuations for orchestra. He also composed for the light music and jazz under the pseudonym of Max Tendel.
In the field as of varieties he published discs of children's songs, songs scouts and, of course, discs of student's songs.
