Derek Hogg
English jazz drummer, born April 8, 1928 in Oldham, England.
In the 1950s played with Freddy Randall 1953, Kenny Baker 1958 and others. In 1960 he toured the USA with Vic Lewis's orchestra. From 1962 Hogg played in a quartet led by Danny Moss, and in 1963 he joined The Rhythm And Blues Quartet. He also worked as a teacher and freelance before retiring in 1987.
