Honest John
Honest John is a Hard Rock band from Houston, Texas, USA.
Formed in 1973. The band split up in 1975.
Honest John was Ottis Coleman on guitars, Chuck Lewis on drums, and T.J. Sanders on bass and vocals. Patrick Brennan joined the band after these recordings and played bass. Ottis Coleman also played in notable Houston band 1900 Storm, along with Dusty Wakeman (who engineered the recordings in 1975). Ottis and Patrick appeared together in the band Texas Blend, and soon after this period Ottis joined Houston blues rockers Buzz Bone (along with Dusty Wakeman) which featured post The Moving Sidewalks members Dan Mitchell and Tom Moore.
