Mike Lane

American musician, songwriter, guitarist, and bassist from TexasLane began his musical career in 1959 in Tyler, Texas, playing lead guitar with Ron Williams And The Customs. He was next employed by The Blazers who worked the Midwest area. In 1961 he joined Wanda Jackson And The Party Timers as bass player. After leaving Party Timers he formed his own group, and began to sing and work out of Fort Wayne, Indiana. He eventually returned to East Texas, and signed a recording contract with Buddy Records in 1965.
