Born: December 25, 1944, St. Louis, Missouri.Once an extremely popular regional attraction, John Edwards moved from the local circuit to the big time when he joined the Spinners. Edwards joined The Spinners full-time in 1977 and remained with them until 2000 when he suffered a debilitating stroke and was forced to retire.
