Footsteps made the first steps in 1999. Bluegrass, American folk music and gospels formed the bulk of the repertoire. The band harmonized the texts of poets with Slovenian modern and authorial compositions. The unique set of instruments and multi-lingual singing gives Stopinja (Footprints) a recognizable sound (acoustic bass guitar, resonance guitar (good), violin, bang, acoustic guitar, bass, mandolin and sarongs in different combinations).
