Stina Engelbrecht

Real name: Stina Britta Jadelius Engelbrecht

Swedish singer, songwriter, author, born Jadelius May 11, 1970.

She grew up on Höga kusten and was a member of the former music group Sarek, which released the albums "Genom eld och vatten" and "I natt ska marken skälva", where Engelbrecht wrote all or part of the song material. She is also a member of Roslagens vokalensemble. She has been married to the folk musician and music producer Jens Engelbrecht since 2006, with whom she runs the production company Mindport music and the company Nattsärk.

Engelbrecht also works on other artists' album productions, for example After Dark, Peter Jezewski, Ingemar Olsson, Östen med resten and others.

She has participated three times in national selections for the Eurovision Song Contest. In the Melodifestivalen in 2003 as one of two songwriters and storming choir singer with the song "Through fire and water", in 2004 as member Sarek with the contribution "Älvorn" and in 2008 in Belgium's selection as songwriter for the song "Magical Sensation".

In December 2007, Engelbrecht debuted as a children's book author with Alvin the fire boy. She also set the story to music (together with Emil Nilsson), which was released as an album at the same time. Alvin the Fire Boy is illustrated by fantasy artist Peter Bergting.
