DJ Prosper started mixing in 1996. Strongly influenced by the Hip Hop & Ragga from the early 90's (De La Soul, Cypress Hill, Ragga Twins, Kenny Dope, 3rd Bass, Gangstarr), the first Chemical Brothers productions and the all the US West Coast Breaks scene (Bassbin Twins, DJ Dan, Metro LA, DJ Icey) without forgetting U.K labels (Wall of Sound , Skint, Finger Lickin, Jalapeno, Kingsize, Against The Grain...).
He has appeared in many French music Festivals (Transmusicales de Rennes, Nordik Impakt, Les Nuits Sonores, Nancy Jazz Pulsations...) and shared the stage with talented artist like DJ Krush, Plump DJ's, Matt Cantor (Freestylers), Freddy Fresh, Fingathing & also Pendulum.
Prosper has produced with Balda (his music partner) three releases in 2005 (on Labrok, Funky Cactus and Stop Records). And is working with Flore (after their collaboration for the Filthy Criminals E.P) on more stuff.
