Frank Bello is the bassist for Anthrax, having replaced founding member Danny Lilker in 1984. Prior to that, Frank had been the band's roadie. He left the band for unexplained reasons in 2004, and joined Helmet (2). In Anthrax, Frank was briefly replaced by Joey Vera. Along with Joe Belladonna and Dan Spitz, Frank returned to the band in 2005.

Frank Bello is also the nephew of Anthrax drummer Charlie Benante.
