Léa Mendonça began her professional career as a composer and singer of Grupo Altos Louvores, one of the greatest names in Protestant music of the 1980s in Brazil.

In 1992 she began her solo career by releasing her debut album 'Olha Pra Mim' by Som E Louvores.
