Founded in Rome, Italy in 2001.
La Bocca Della Verità were formed with the purpose of reviving the progressive rock music of the seventies (especially of their influences Pink Floyd, Premiata Forneria Marconi, Genesis, Banco Del Mutuo Soccorso, Emerson, Lake & Palmer and Le Orme) by means of performing covers of existing material from that era, which they initially did to very good effect.
