Rush Winters

British singer and songwriter, active in the 1980s and 1990s.

Recorded with Carmel (2), Yello, and others. In 1983, Carmel's "Bad Day," with background vocals by Winters and Helen Watson, reached number 15 in the UK singles chart. On its LP "Stella" (1985), Yello featured her vocals on the songs "Vicious Games" and "Angel No." "Vicious Games" reached Nr. 5 on the Swiss Hit Parade and peaked at Nr. 8 on Billboard magazine's Dance Club Song charts in the United States. In 1988, she appeared at Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club in London and was hailed by Record Mirror (April 1988, p. 92) as "the British female vocalist of 1988." In the 1990s, her voice (under the alias Russian Roulette (3)) was featured on several albums by Beautiful World.
