Los Que Iban Cantando, named after a poem by Circe Maia, was a Uruguayan musical group, inscribed within the movement of cultural resistance to the civil-military dictatorship, the so-called canto popular. Founded in 1977 as a group of soloists, by Jorge Lazaroff, Jorge Bonaldi, Luis Trochón and Jorge Galemire, later Jorge Galemire left and Jorge Di Pólito and Carlos Da Sliveira joined. They split in 1983 but came back in 1987 whit Jorge Lazaroff, Jorge Bonaldi, Luis Trochón and Edú Lombardo, later joined by Walter Venencio, and eventually stopped as a group in 1989 when Jorge Lazaroff died.
