The Gentlemen's Agreement is the Barbershop Harmony Society's 1971 International Quartet Champion. They first formed in December of 1969 and rose to the top very quickly. In 1970 they placed 4th and in 1971, they won it all. They would then go on a USO tour of Vietnam with Bob Hope just after winning the gold and went on to perform on several different other special engagements. They first retired in 1976 but came out of retirement a few more times before finally calling it quits for good in the mid-80’s.
