Real name: Зоя Петрівна Христич

Zoya Khrystych (1932–2016) was a Ukrainian opera singer (lyrical soprano). She finished her studies at the Odessa Conservatorium in 1956 and between 1956–1981 she was soloist at the National Opera of Ukraine. From 1965 to 2011 she taught music at the Kyiv Conservatorium, from 1984 — becoming a professor. She was awarded the title "People's Artist of Ukraine" in 1965 -- also appears as Zoe Khristich.
