Members: Mark Mothersbaugh, Robert Casale, Bob Mothersbaugh, Josh Mancell

Surf Rock group formed by Mark Mothersbaugh in 1999 to create the theme song for the animated show 'Rocket Power.' In 2001 Casual Tonalities released The Wipeouter's only album, primarily written by Mark with additional songs by Bob Mothersbaugh and Josh Mancell.
Being made up of 3/4 DEVO members, The Wipeouters is often considered a spin-off, or even an alias, of Devo, and in 2006, the group was rebranded as 'DEVO's Wipeouters'. Gerald Casale, also of DEVO, co-wrote the song 'Luna Goona Park', but is credited as a guest performer instead of a full-time member.
