Gothic / folk metal band from Germany.
The roots of Thanateros go back to 1999 when Ben Richter recorded a demo under this moniker by himself. Given the positive reactions the demo received, Ben decided to leave Evereve and focus only on his project by gathering further members. At the beginning of 2001 Thanateros had a full line-up.
The band split up at the beginning of 2010 and was reformed in 2019.
