Real name: Robert Levon Been
Son of Michael Been.Early in his Black Rebel Motorcycle Club career, he used the alias "Robert Turner"; in order to avoid the connection to his musician father and any influence that may potentially result from it. From the release of Baby 81 he reverted to his given name of Robert Levon Been.
