Born: January 17, 1910 - Died: March 14, 1987 Early 1930s living in Buffalo, South Dakota. First job at the Village Barn in New York City. Got six fifteen-minute shows per week at a local radio station. Had the honor to play for President Franklin D. Roosevelt. Signed a contract with Grand national Pictures in 1938. Recorded for the Decca, Flint and Vocalion record labels.
