Arthur Umbgrove is a Dutch writer, singer/songwriter and comedian. Studied Dutch language and literature in Groningen. Was one of the initial comedians of the Comedytrain that introduced stand up comedy in The Netherlands.
While touring with his comedy shows Umbgrove is asked to record the songs from his shows. So far he recorded five albums.
In 2006 he published his first (award winning) novel, Midden Op De Weg Zo Hard Mogelijk. His latest (fourth) novel, Paradise Village, was published in 2015.
