Panther
Members: Mick Schmidt, Sven Halm, Maik Kähler, Steffen Klotz, Ronny Dümke
Speed/Thrash-Metal band from Halle an der Saale, Germany. Founded in 1986 in the German Democratic Republic. After they played a cover of Sodom's "Bombenhagel" (which includes the German national anthem) live, Panther weren't allowed to perform anymore in East Germany because this was seen as a pro-reunification statement by the East German government. Panther recorded a track for radio broadcast in 1988. The title of the track is "Höllenfeuer" and it is not included on any release.
