Polish chamber orchestra from Warsaw.
Founded in the early in the 20th century. In the 1960s and 70s was conducted by Karol Teutsch. In the 1990s, a string orchestra gave concerts with eminent soloists like Konstanty Andrzej Kulka or Nigel Kennedy) as well as recording for record companies and the television.

Warsaw Philharmonic Chamber Orchestra was reactivated in the context of the Philharmonic’s centenary celebrations and gave its first concert on 10th February 2002. It was formed by leading Orkiestra Symfoniczna Filharmonii Narodowej instrumentalists, including former members of Karol Teutsch’s ensemble. Jan Lewtak was appointed artistic director of the orchestra.
