Walter Mony
Real name: Walter Alexander Mony
Canadian classical violinist & violist, conductor, and educator. Born 14 April 1929 in Winnipeg, Canada - Died 1 January 2009.He studied at the Royal College of Music, London. Former Assistant Principal Violin in the London Symphony Orchestra (1948-1955) and a member of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. He was the violin/viola member of the Nederburg Harp Trio and the founder-conductor of the SABC Youth Training Orchestra.
