Popular American tenor (b. January 15, 1882 St. Stephen, New Brunswick, Canada - d. April 6, 1941 Chicago, Illinois, U.S.A)

Argued by many to be Canada's first musical export, Henry Burr was the most popular of the many pseudonyms used by tenor Harry McClaskey (others included Irving Gillette, Henry Gillette, Alfred Alexander, Archie Alexander, Ira Allen, Harry Barr, Ralph Brainard, Robert Rice (5), Carl Ely, Frank Knapp, Al King, Shamus McClaskey, Charles Richards, Harold Spencer, and many others). One of the most famous ballad singers of the early 20th century, and one the first recording artists for Victor Records and Columbia.
