In 1927, Walter Anderson And His Golden Pheasant Hoodlums were the house band of The Golden Pheasant Cafe, a Chinese restaurant and dance hall at 52-56 So. 7th Street just south of Hennepin Ave. in Minneapolis, MN.Band members included Les Backer, Eddie Bratton, Norm Hendrickson, Dick Hall, Art Swalin, and Harry Wood.
