Kimmo “K-SYSTEM” Kauppinen is one of the leading DJ-producers from Scandinavia, currently working, among other projects, as in-house writer for Warner Chappell. K-SYSTEM also produces and releases fresh pumping dance tracks via a proprietary label, Koodigital.

Flaming Sambuca is the latest release from Koodigital, bringing a scorching-hot club-banger to lighten up the cold and dark winter nights.

K-SYSTEM is a familiar face by now on the international scene, DJing, among others, at the largest Nordic EDM festival Summer Sound Festival, at the Amsterdam Dance Event (latest in 2013!), at the Miami Winter Music Conference and at Ibiza’s famed Es Paradis. In Finland K-SYSTEM can be found playing in all of the biggest EDM festivals alongside such international names as Armin van Buuren, Calvin Harris, Tiësto, and Axwell.

In addition, K-SYSTEM hosts his own club-concepts in Finland: the massively popular Push Up! and GLOW PARTY clubbing tours have hosted many international DJ-superstars in Finland, such as Judge Jules and Darude.

K-SYSTEM’s tracks and productions have been released globally by some of the biggest labels in EDM, including Warner Chappell, Sony Music, EMI, Ministry Of Sound, Blackhole Recorings, and Edel records, just to name a few. Most K-SYSTEM releases have topped dance and sales charts in Scandinavia, and get frequent play in the sets of some of the best known DJs in the world (Tiësto, Judge Jules).

K-SYSTEM's music has also been sampled by the globally recognized best-selling hip hop -artist, Akon, and the arguably fastest rapper in the world, Twista. Their single ”Twista Ft. Akon - On Top” was based on the flowing melody of K-SYSTEM's ”Sound of Arena”. The track was featured on Twista’s album ”Category F5”, released in 2009.

K-SYSTEM has mixed chart topping compilations for the Scandinavian market, including one in the famous “Ministry Of Sound – Clubber's Guide to” -series, and “Radio NRJ – Party Planet” for the most popular radio-played dance anthems.

As a producer, K-SYSTEM has crafted a remix of Tiësto’s “Elements of Life” to the “Elements Of Life – Remixed” album release. In 2008 K-SYSTEM produced and co-wrote Alex Kunnari’s incredibly addictive dancefloor-smashing super hit, “Lifter”.

In 2008 K-System was also voted the “Producer of the year” by Finnish DJs.

K-SYSTEM is increasingly well known for his energetic performances as DJ, embracing his audience with the help his extensive experience to get any party pumping. K-SYSTEM has performed internationally as well as domestically, indoors and outdoors, giving him a versatility that underlines his professional expertise.
