Real name: Ronald Lee Wilson

Effective period / Period of releases: 1968

Drummer who played in the legendary surf-rock band, The Surfaris. He is most well known for his energetic drumming in the song "Wipe Out" and for co-writing the song together with Jim Fuller, Patrick Connolly and Bob Berryhill. Ron was the singer on their hit "Surfer Joe" recorded at Paul Buff's Pal Studios in Cucamonga, CA in January 1963. During the late 1970s and early 1980s, Wilson was the drummer for the Monica Dupont band.
