Real name: Γιώργος Τσαγκαράκης

Cretan artist born at Ρέθεμνος in 1913 started to involve with music at the age of 9 where he and his friend Ανδρέας Ροδινός bought their first instrument: a mandolin.
Self taught to all the instruments he played. Later he will continue with the Cretan Lyre.
At the age of 14 he started to give live performances with Αντώνης Καρεκλάς.
Later on in the 30's decade he recorded with Στρατής Καλογερίδης and collaborated with the most significant Cretan artists of the era.
