Originally raised in Seattle WA, Tas & D.R.E.A.D. actually began P.O.T. ~ Prophets Of Truth while together in Houston TX giving them the distinction of being the ONLY Seattle Hip Hop group to become established in the South PRIOR to returning home to complete their inaugural full length project.

Their first release was a maxi-cassette single that featured D.R.E.A.D.s song "I'm Outs To Get Mines" & Tas' EDM/Hip House track "Let It Ride". After moving from H-Town to ATL to pursue a recording contract they came back to Seattle in 1995 to work with FUNKDADDY, SKILLZ & RC to compliment the Boom Bap production of G-MAN. That's why their project sounds completely different than the rest of Seattle artist that released projects in the 90s...travel.
