Polish jazz band operating in the years 1959-1962 in Warsaw (he made his debut at Jazz Jamboree'59). Its founder is Andrzej Trzaskowski. In June 1962, the band went on a concert tour of the United States. He has performed at, among others, jazz festivals in Washington, Newport, New Orleans and popular jazz clubs, among others in Village Vanguard in New York. The Wreckers also appeared on the popular TV show "Who is in the World". The team received flattering reviews, among others in The New York Times. He was the first Polish jazz formation performing in the USA. After returning from an American tour, the band changed its name to The Andrzej Trzaskowski Quintet, because in the communist reality it seemed safer.
