German saxophonist born in 1967 in Weilheim in Oberbayern.
Since 2009 he has held a professorship for jazz saxophone at the Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy University of Music and Theatre in Leipzig. He co-operated for albums by Rebekka Bakken, Joo Kraus, Wolfgang Haffner and others. Johannes Enders played with Sam Rivers, Rainer Böhm, Roy Hargrove, Jaki Byard, Lester Bowie, Jean Paul Brodbeck, Jamaaladeen Tacuma, Lee Konitz, Günter Sommer, Kenny Wheeler, Billy Hart, Ack van Rooyen and Brad Mehldau.
