Moanaa was founded in 2008 in Bielsko Biała, Poland.The band plays music that could be categorized as post-metal, atmospheric sludge metal, doom and psychedelic wth some post-rock influences. They have shared the stage with bands such as Rosetta (2), City of Ships, Jarboe, Nachtmystium and At The Soundawn.
In 2014 they released their debut album Descent.
