Chris Albertson
Real name: Christiern Gunnar Albertson
New York City-based jazz journalist, writer and record producer (born: October 18, 1931 in Reykjavik, Iceland - died: New York City, April 24, 2019). He worked for radio stations in the USA and for the BBC in London and was a record producer for Riverside Records, Prestige Records and Columbia among others. He wrote a biography of Bessie Smith as well as TV documentaries.
