His song "Você Vai Gostar" is one of the most well-known Brazilian songs ever, according to research conducted by the rural TV show Globo Rural. “Despertar do Sertão,” his composition performed by Cascatinha e Inhana, was the first Brazilian song ever played on the BBC.
