Punk band formed in Austin, Texas during the late 1970s. The Delinquents would collaborate with Lester Bangs in the early 1980s. The result would be the album Jook Savages on the Brazos, an early example of country western/punk fusion.Not to be confused with the early 80s punk/hardcore band "Delinquents" from Ohio, who are a completely seperate group.
