Richard Watkins

Classical horn player who performs as a concerto soloist and chamber music player. He is closely associated with promoting contemporary music for the horn. Born in 1962.He was Principal Horn of the Philharmonia Orchestra from 1985 to 1996. Member of The Nash Ensemble and a founder member of London Winds & the Transatlantic Horn Quartet.
Father of Alexei Watkins and Louis Watkins.
