Jim Andelin

Real name: James Andelin

Effective period / Period of releases: 1950

(1917-2006) Actor and voiceover talent whose career started in Chicago in 1929 with roles on radio programs such "Little Orphan Annie" and "Jack Armstrong" that led to a long and busy career in Chicago radio production and parts on many of the most popular shows. He was also associated with the Jack and Jill Players, a children's theater in Chicago, and is featured on some of their record releases.

He was often credited as "James Andelin" particularly for movie roles, among them "Rookie of The Year" and "Field of Dreams". He was the son of noted basso profundo singer Willard Andelin.
