Real name: Jevgēnijs Načiss

AON is Jevgēnijs Načiss, a sound designer and composer from Latvia. Having a post/ prog-rock bass guitarist and a professional studio background, his work blends the density of shoegaze guitar sound with spacey synth tones and arpegios, sampled/ re-sampled sounds and processed field recordings, rhythm section mixing somewhat reminiscent of minimal ritualistic percussion and post-dubstep.

Aon is a sound artist from Jūrmala, Latvia. Played bass guitar in various metal bands until middle of 2011, when started to concentrate on electronic music.
His music can be described as atmospheric, melancholic, it brings you through different emotional experiences, mostly influenced by pitiless, yet changeful climate of East Northern Europe. He mixes various genres and uses a lot of field recordings, as well as palette of instruments - bass guitar, guitar, analog synthesizers, ethnic percussions and woodwinds.
