Nicknamed "Pop", immigrated from Italy around the early 1900s to Delaware County, where he opened in 1925 a music and instruments store, also a music school.
Married with Anna Caruso, they had five sons, Vince, Henry (Hank), Marty, Anthony (Tony) and Larry, all musicians and music teachers.
