Netherlands-based Resplandor is a band founded by Antonio Zelada. 'Tristeza', their latest album, is produced and mixed by Robin Guthrie, founder and songwriter of the legendary Cocteau Twins, who also produced and mixed their previous album 'Pleamar', both albums have been mastered by Simon Scott of Slowdive.

Resplandor was the opening act for The Cure on November 22, 2023 as part of The Cure's 'Shows Of A Lost World Tour 2023' and since 'Tristeza' was released in 2022 Resplandor has presented the album by embarking on a European tour, playing at Grauzone Festival (NL), Half Die Festival (IT) among others.

During 2019 the band toured several European countries playing in the Netherlands, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Germany, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Belgium.

During 2018, the band performed different gigs including a gig with Drab Majesty, being part of the VMF Festival playing with MGMT, Warpaint, among others.

In 2017, after a four-year hiatus, the band returned to the stage, playing with Slowdive. In the fall of that year, Resplandor toured Spain, France, Germany.

On April 17, 2013, Resplandor was the opening act for The Cure. Resplandor has opened for The Cure, The Jesus & Mary Chain, Slowdive, The House Of Love, The Ocean Blue, Ulrich Schnauss, The Radio Dept. among others. They have also toured Europe, South America and North America.
