Kelvyn Hallifax (born 22 June 1952 in Croydon, Surrey, England) is a British composer, singer, musician and record producer now based in AmsterdamIn the 1970s and 1980s he was active as a singer and guitarist in several bands. In Dorking, Surrey he played in the band Joanne, later Wilder, as a guitarist and was their singer in the 1970s. Then he was a member of the band Window in London. In 1981 he sang and played guitar on Electra Five - Picture.
He started composing music for commercials in cooperation with his fellow composer Lothar Brandes, a member of the German band FEE, as part of the company Modern Toys Music in the 1980s which lasted nearly 10 years.
His best-known song is Kelvyn Hallifax - White Boy In Europe from 1986, a single from his 1986 album Kelvyn Hallifax - Days Of Europa.
