Members: Wojciech Bąkowski, Konrad Smoleński, Tomasz Mróz, Przemysław Sanecki, Piotr Bosacki

Polish experimental band, founded in 2004 by Wojciech Bąkowski (lead vocals, songwriter), Konrad Smoleński (bass) and Leszek Knaflewski (drums), and based in Poznań. The KOT (which means "cat" in Polish) came to prominence for using cassette tape recorders, such as Sony CFS-W350L and CFS-W390L, retrofitted as instruments on the stage. Their shows combined various genres of music with poetry and spoken word.
