Arthur Morton

Real name: Arthur Goldberg

American orchestrator and arranger.
Born: August 8, 1908 in Duluth, Minnesota Died: April 15, 2000 (age 91) in Santa Monica, California.
He was the orchestrator of nearly every film score composed by Jerry Goldsmith.
He also olso orchestrated for George Duning in the 1940s thru the 1960s. Brother of Lawrence Morton. Father of avant-garde composer John Morton.
Morton's and Goldsmith's first collaboration was on the film "Take Her She's Mine" in 1963 and ending with "L.A. Confidential" in 1997.
