American guitarist, singer, songwriter, from Carthage in West Central Illinois, known as Slink Rand.

Born December 3, 1949, Keokuk, Iowa; died February 21, 2020, Torrance, California (age 70).

Started performing in Carthage in mid-1960s. Joined Keokuk, Iowa, band The Gallows in 1967. Then the Floggs, then Bonaparte Citrus Store. Joined Gonn in 1969. Then joined Fred Tieken's American Music Band, which evolved into Ilmo Smokehouse in 1969. Then formed his own band, the Slink Rand Group. In 2014, reunited with Craig "Wolf" Moore to create Slinkenwolf.
