The Cyclones
Members: Siva Choy
Siva Choy and his brother James began singing together in 1957, and by 1962 they were known as The Cyclones. The Cyclones were invited to become the lead vocalists for The Checkmates, the resident band for the restaurant-nightclub The Cellar. The Cyclones-Checkmates ensemble went on to become the resident band for the Golden Venus's Sunday Beat and Blues tea dance sessions.
