A Night in Texas was founded in 2010 in Cairns, Australia . The group moved to Brisbane in 2013, when Rheese Peters joined as the new singer. In March 2016, the band announced their new vocalist, Ethan Lucas. In January 2023, the vocalist Ethan left the band.
