He played drums since the late 70's, mostly in jazz and blues recordings of artists like James Moody, Eddie Harris, Doc Cheatham, Clark Terry, Joe Williams, Jimmy Scott, Gunther Schuller's Ellington Repertory Orchestra etc. He established Premonition Records in August 1993.
