Important singer, guitarist and composer of the Argentinian folklore. Of the Pampa region, Suma Paz was born in Santa Fé in April 5th 1939. She released numerous records and played a great part in Argentinian folklore music scene. In 1968 she made her first trip to Japan, where she achieved great success, and also toured the US. She considered Atahualpa Yupanqui as her "master" of which she sang and played numerous songs. She died April 8th 2009 at the age of 70.
